Week 3rd, 7th of March

Hello. How are you all? Doing your homework?
Well, last week we had 4 classes instead of 2, I hope you are not very tired. On Monday we corrected the homework and we studied the uses of  "so" and "such" in the "consequence sentences". It wasn't very difficult, was it? We also worked with the text book to practise our listening. On Friday you realized different oral activities working in pairs or small groups. You practised questions to ask for specific information about the habits, likes, interests of other people. In this way, you can also know more things about your classmates. Moreover, we were practising "so" and "such" in different sentences. I hope you don't have any problems with this.
I am sorry that I couldn't start with the "modal verbs". We will leave them for another day.
Next week, we will learn the structures "used to" and "be/get used to" and we will continue working with the textbook.
I hope I can correct all your compositions for tomorrow.....
See you tomorrow

2nd week of february

Well, as I imagined, we didn't have enough time to do everything I had planned. Never mind. We'll do it next week. Apart from correcting the homework, we have practised different kinds of sentences with countable and uncountable nouns and determiners. We have also watched a video and realized different activities about it.
Next week, we will work with the textbook and we will see different uses of modal verbs.
See you on Monday.

We are starting....

Well, my dear students, here we are, trying to learn and improve our English.
On the first day, we did our presentations and realized an oral activity to look for some people around the class, do you remember? Apart from this, we have reviewed some grammar points that you are supposed to have to know.
For example, we have been seing the "preference verbs" and you already have to know when to use them with "-ing verbs" or " to-infinitives". However, next week we must learn how to use these verbs with a different subject.
We have also been studying determiners for "countable" and "uncountable" nouns (much, many, few, little, some or any). Next week we will practise this and you will see that sometimes it is not so easy.
We have talked about names and the reasons to name our children.
If we have time, which I very much doubt, we will watch a video that, I hope, you will enjoy.
I remind you that you had to do some homework (from the workbook)

See you on Monday morning!!
